When I was very young, I loved to sing the song "Mary Had a Little Lamb." I was still a baby, though, so I sang, "Mary had a yittle yamb, yittle yamb, yittle yamb."

What the name of the blog means
When I was just a wee thing, I would love to sing, "Mary had a little lamb" but, I would sing it all in my own "Baby language". I would call it, "Yittle Yamb". That is why I called my blog, "Da Yittle Yamb".
Also, Daddy and I used to call you our little lamb. You were so cute and sweet and even when you cried it was so soft and delicate! When you got bigger, we loved to hear you walking around the house singing, "Mary had a yittle yamb, yittle yamb, yittle yamb." -Mamma
