The boys first battle won!

Today the boys fought and won their first battle against a snake in our yard. :)  It was only a black snake but they got it any way!

He can't do any more harm, (if he ever did any...)

A rainy day in Deep Gap

Rain.  We knew it was going to be here soon but we  decided to do it any way.  We got about seven of the puppies and went to the field across the street.  We unloaded and started running around.  After about five minutes Hannah noticed that a wall of rain had suddenly started at the house and was coming straight for us!  We tried to load all of the puppies and Sarah into the wagon but the puppies kept jumping out, so that didn't work!  The rain had almost reached us so we all picked up a puppy and ran...  Well yes,  we did make it back to the house but oh, so wet!  We put the seven pups in the shelter on the covered porch and got the other three inside.  It was a lot of fun to get wet!

After we had reached the cover of the porch...

Its hard to tell in this picture, but the rain is really pouring down!

Goodbye Henry

Sadly, yesterday Henry had another incident with the neighbors and just had to go.  It was the last straw.  We tried to keep him.  It didn't work.  He is not staying in the electric fence.  Anyway, Daddy and Mamma decided to take him to the Humane Society today.  He is a WONDERFUL family dog and I hope whoever gets him keeps his name.  It was sad, but it had to be done.  He just needs a little more space to roam and a family to love.
We loved him so much.

Good-bye Henry!
