Another Water fight!

These summer days are wonderful for getting wet!  We had another water fight yesterday.  Hannah, Moses, Noah, Ruthie, and Sarah for part of the time.  Ahhhh!  Water!

We are out of action in most of the pictures, but believe me, we got VERY wet!

Can't wait for the next one!

Baby birds

A while ago, Moses found a birds nest on a tree beside our front porch. It had Baby Robins in it!!!
I have seen the parents feed them so much and I also got about five good videos and a good picture too.
I stayed out in the cold for a long time trying to get them. (It was strangely very cold when he found them, and we have even had a few snow flurries up here.)

Water fight

What is a better activity on a warm summer day, than getting wet!

(only thing is, you can be quite cold once you are finished...!)  :)

The sleeping has moved outside!

The first night went well, but during the afternoon the next day it started pouring down torrents of rain, a windy rain, that was getting every thing wet.  After it dried though, we put our beds out again and tried once more.  It went well, being a little chillier than the night before but going well.  It is a lot of fun.  We plan to do it again tonight.

Eight puppies have gone home!

We only have two puppies left and one is leaving today, and the other is leaving on the 6th of July.

Our little attack bird

We have a male cardinal at our house who likes to fight other male cardinals.  But none of the other cardinals who he fights are real! :)  He always fights his reflection in our living room, bedroom, and van windows!  He will be sitting on the porch railing, and then suddenly jump up and start fighting the other cardinal!  We hear a tap, bang, scratch, scratch and then he will retreat back to the railing only to attack a moment later with just as much force!  He is such a funny little bird!

I caught some shots of him in mid air fighting the window. 

The boys first battle won!

 Today the boys fought and won their first battle against a snake in our yard. :)  It was only a black snake but they got it any way!

He can't do any more harm, (if he ever did any...)
